Zelda the German Shepherd

Zelda is long hair German Shepherd, approximately 5 years old. She was found in a bad condition, matted to the skin and with mammary tumours.  She has since had surgery to remove the tumours and is well on her way to recovery. Despite all of this, she is one of the sweetest, most devoted dogs we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Her hair is starting to grow back now, and what she was left with is baby soft, so much so, you will want to pet her all day… she certainly won’t object to that. She is good on the lead, but could use more work. She is fantastic off lead and her recall is great. She is good with other dogs and children. She is small for a German Shepherd, and may be mixed breed. But even though she is smaller, I would still recommend older children. She needs someone who is home most of the day, or happy to bring her with them. She is so devoted to her human, that she will sit there and gaze at you, and lightly give you the paw for attention. We really can’t recommend this lady highly enough.
