Ted the Jack Russell

This small boy came in in a terrible state. Extremely sick and emaciated. He was touch and go at the vets but thankfully ready now to start looking for his forever home thanks to the dedication of his loving fosterer and the veterinary care he received.

Ted is an untidy persons dreamHe spends hours pottering around and picking up all the messy shoes and toys and is sooo obliging by bringing them all back to a chosen spot in a neat and orderly manner what more could you want!The only probably is getting them back off himHe has come on so much with regards to the possessive behaviour. He is super around the other 4 dogs, loves his walks is great off lead when walking the woods.He pays no attention to the hens,horses cows or pigs.He is very easy going and is very people focused so someone who is home alot of the day would help if he is an only dog.

He is quite needy and like to be involved in the jobs we are doing around the house or farm but by no means does he suffer serparation anxiety.He sleeps quietly all night with the other dogs in their bedroom.He is very clean in the house and is neutered. Due to the pure neglect of his chest infection over such a long time he coughs occasionally but the vet thinks this is more psychological now as its all he knew for so long.His breathing rate is faster than your average dog but that is just because his lungs arent functioning at 100% but his chest is finally clear after 3 rounds of antibiotics and steroids.Ted loves his food and is particularly fond of human food like porridge and shepards pieHe helps to cook the dinner every day he is the tester before it passes to the tableI would say ted isnt suitable for young kids due to his possessiveness and def needs a strong willed owner who wont back down to his messing but in return you will get a great companion who craves your company and is very grateful for all you do for him. He loves his spins in the car too.
