Cuishle the Lurcher
If you are looking for a dog that will flood your heart with joy , make you smile and laugh daily, then Cuishle may be the girl for you.
This tiny, dainty looking, young little, whippet like, lurcher lassie is Cuishle. She is full of the puppy joie de vie, and is so much fun, always happy and curious.
Typical of the breed she enjoys catching some Zzz’s sleeping happily on the couch most of the day. Shes very clean in the house but has had an occassional accident. She loves her grub and her cuddles.
At the park , she meets lots of different dogs, and always wants to play, and gets her zoomies in with anyone who will give her a chase. Full of puppy whippetty energy, on the field. And will happily sleep after a good run. Recall is at about 98 % reliability now, with an immediate reward. Walks nicely on a short lead.
She is currently in a home with an elderly lurcher, and an elderly chihuahua, she really loves dogs so ideally a home with a friend for her, that would enjoy interacting with her.
She can be mischievous at times and is testing the boundaries of the home, pilfering where possible, normal for a youngster.
The fosterer is at home most of the time, so leaving her unattended for up to three hours is the longest block period of time shes been unattented. She had been crated initially, however she becomes distressed in the crate once the distractions of stuffed kong and snuffle mats have been enjoyed. Shes now being left loose with the other dogs, which is working out nicely.
We were told she was timid before she arrived at this foster home, ive only seen a glimpse here and there of this timidness, on the whole, she is very well rounded ,happy, confident, curious, affectionate, loving new experiences. She is young and she is learning, shes quick to learn, with food and affection as a motivator.
Beautiful Cuishle is a total sweetheart.
