Odie the Mixbreed

Odie has been in my foster care for almost a week now and he has quickly settled in and has shown to be a very loving pup. He is the cutest/funniest looking thing with his big bat ears and long spindly legs (I think he has some whippet in him). This little guy gets very attached very fast and he spends his day following me around the house and cuddling right up next to me. He is fine however when left alone, as he does not become destructive. He has lots of energy to spare and absolutely loves his walks. He is very good and obsessed with people and he enjoys greeting everyone on the streets. His semi-nervous energy really comes forward however when he meets other dogs. Though he is good with them once he says hello, just the sight of a dog across the street or across a park sends him into an excited-frenzy which does not dissipate for some time. This will take some training.
He is great with cats and has become friends with mine(Louis), they enjoy running around the house together and wrestling. He is very impressive in his ability for patience when Louis’ playing becomes rough or relentless. Odie always plays fair and knows his strength.
Odie is relatively good on lead(can be a bit pully due to constant excitement with the outside world however). Again with a little patience and training Odie this will sort itself out.
He is also house trained. We often get enquiries for cat friendly dogs so if you are looking for a pal for your cat, Odie is your man.
Children over five for this boy.
