Nova the Mixed Breed
Forever home appeal for Nova a special girl – We have a very special appeal for our lovely scruffy girl Nova. She came to us last autumn in very poor shape – dying of an untreated liver condition that resulted in massive water retention around all her organs. She was emaciated and suffering from mange. Our vets spent a long time working with her to stabilise her and she went to a fantastic foster home for rehabilitation. In the months that followed Nova made amazing progress and her health has much improved – she will be on meds for the rest of her life but while on them is in very good health. Naturally after all that trauma, Nova is a bit of a scaredy cat.. She is looking for a very special home that understands her need to be with you and makes her feel loved. She will follow you around devotedly and loves nothing more than cuddles on the couch. Nova loves her walks and is perfect off and on lead, doesnt shed her beautiful curls and loves dogs and children. DAWG will cover her meds for as long as is necessary. We would love to see one of our more special cases loved and cherished in a new forever home.
