Kody the German Shepherd

Kody is a two year old German Shepherd. He is a very loyal and gentle boy, who had a hard start in life. Kody was bought as a guard dog, but failed due to his sweet temperament and left in a back yard by himself, with no other dog for company. When Kody came into foster care with my family he had no social skills with dogs, but he was great with humans. He is living with another dog, and slowly but surely learning to live comfortably with her. Kody would be happiest as the only dog in the house, with someone who can be with him for most of the day. He comes to work with me as he loves being in human company. We barely notice he is there because he is so well behaved, hardly lifting his head until home time. Kody is improving on the lead, his recall is excellent and loves nothing more than fetching balls. He loves going to the beach and jumping into the water time and time again. This gentle and loyal boy deserves a forever home where he can continue his training and be loved for the rest of his days.
