Dixie the Japanese Spitz x
Very special home needed for Dixie – Hi I am Dixie a 3yrs old Japanese Spitz X. The lovely rescue people took me in and built up my trust and confidence in people. I love walks but I don’t like the thought of getting my lead on because it reminds me of when i was tied up and felt trapped. I still have a fear of people touching my neck but I’m getting braver every day. I would like a large secure garden in the country side that I could play in without having to get my lead on. I like older kids (over 12) who are patient and gentle with me as I’m still learning to trust. I get on well with the other dogs in my foster home but I would be just as happyIf I got all the attention to myself.As long as Dixie gets the space she needs to adjust she will eventually seek your affection. She is a very loving girl with those she has learned to trust.
