Buddy is a young Belgian Shepard who was in a bad way when he was found. He was extremely thin and his coat was so bad the groomer has to cut it right down. We dont know why but due to his former circumstances, he can be slow to trust males, however after a few days to familiarize himself with the people in the household, he is a pleasure to have around. He is very well tempered, even when he is nervous, and is friendly with other dogs. Buddy would be best suited in a one dog household, while he does like the company of other dogs, he does not like to share his human’s affection. . A countryside home or home in a quiet area would be best, as he can get nervous when encountering strangers on the footpath. Buddy needs owners who are kind, patient, and active. While he can be slow to leave the safety of home, once he is outside, he loves a run. Buddy is a good boy, with a lot of love who needs a forever home. He has put on weight and is looking fantastic thanks to his amazing fosterer Colm. Children over 12 for Buddy and a secure garden a must.
