Birdie the Lurcher

Beautiful young Birdie smiles all the time since she came into rescue. She is a lurcher x staffie we think with the best of both breeds. She is smaller than your average lurcher. She is such an affectionate girl with a grin and a tail wag for everyone. Typical of a dog recovering from neglect, she is a bit needy so craves love all the time. Once she is settled she is a beautiful family dog. Birdie is perfect on the lead but would love wide open spaces to run off her energy. She is also a bit jumpy and enthusiastic so kids over 10 for this young girl. Birdie is only about 8 months, so will need someone at home most of the day to help her learn the ropes. She’s a trusting, happy soul who wants more than anything to become part of a loving family. No cats for Birdie but other dogs would help her gain confidence.
