Betty the Rottie x

Betty is one of the sweetest and human friendly dogs I have had the pleasure of spending time with. At a guess she is a Rottie x. She is house and lead trained and is capable of walking off lead in woods/beach etc once she is used to you and her surroundings. She automatically follows her human and checks in, she has trotted away from me when scared but she will stop for you and is easily caught. Good in the car also. She needs very little in the way of attention and just wants to lay down, have foot twitching dreams and the occasional cuddle and walk. As an older dog she has some senior issues. she prefers her food to be soft, soaking kibble in boiling water is all that is needed. She has cataracts but seems to only struggle to see when it is dark. I have seen improvements in her mobility with exercise, and putting a bit of cod liver oil in her food is a great addition. Betty is laid back with other dogs, but has no problem putting an annoying young dog in their place. Fine with cats, seems to ignore them. She has fitted into any house I have visited well by finding a spot and lying down. She really is an ideal companion, anyone would be lucky to get to spend their life with her.
