Basil the Lurcher Pup

We shudder to think what Basil endured in his short life when he came into us a broken pup. Move on a couple of months and you see a stunningly healthy lurcher pup. Treated like a diamond with Nuala and John in foster and given plenty of space to grow.Basil still has a way to go emotionally. It takes him time to trust humans, but he adores other dogs. He is most definitely looking for a home with anotherdog. Here is his update – Basil had a bad start to life but was lucky enough to be found by someone that cared and called Cork DAWG. He still does not really wag his tail for his foster family, but wags it wildly for his doggy friends.
Basil would need to go to a home that realizes that he will need time, patience and lots and lots of love.
Ideally would be better suited to a home that has a dog already, as it would help him to settle in.
He is good around kids, fully crate trained (as long as he gets a biscuit going in) and loves going for long walks on the lead. He does have a great happy go lucky personality, but again just needs the time and effort to be a great companion and friend.

Basil has gone to his forever home!
