Ivra’s Happy Ending (formerly Trinny)

Here is just a quick update on Ivra (formerly Trinny) that we had the pleasure of adopting a year ago.

Ivra is a brilliant dog! Have never com across a more happy enthusiastic personality, she loves everyone and everything. I suppose her only major flaw is that she loves food to the point it is a struggle to keep her weight down (which is especially important with only three legs), this dog will find something to eat anywhere!

Her love for food makes her very biddable however and we are currently training with the A1-K9 Demo team, she might even do her first public performance at the Woof Woof dogshow in August. Ivra will pick up things incredibly fast so she is a joy to train. We also attended a fun dogshow in Ballyseedy recently where she nabbed the second price in the rescue category, but most importantly we had a great day out with both the dogs!

We love taking Ivra out and showing that a three legged is not more work nor do they stop you from doing things than a dog with all four paws intact 🙂

Ivra and Ben get along really well, they are happy in each others company and her confidence has made him a lot more secure.
