Zoe the Staffie

Zoe is a 9 year old happy and healthy staffie, She is being rehomed as her owners cannot give her the time she needs due to a change in circumstances. Zoe has lived her life as the only dog so we will be homing her as the only one to avoid any undue stress. She is good with children, spayed, housetrained. Loves her walks and her toys. She is still a very active girl but she equally is an angel around the house. Children over 8 for Zoe and an enclosed garden a must.
Update from her foster home:
Zoe is an older staffie who still awaits her perfect match – Zoe is a lovely smart girl with buckets of personality and the most expressive ears. She loves people, and is fantastic with kids and in the car. She adores her cuddles (you will not be able to sit on the sofa without her cuddling you) and is always up for playtime, but she’s equally happy to lie near you as you work. She just wants to be with her people. She can be a bit bouncy when playing so either the kids need to be reasonably sensible (ours is 5) or a little older, so they don’t get knocked over by accident.
She needs leashed walks for the moment. She walks well on a lead but doesn’t recall sometimes when she sees something interesting. She can be reactive with other dogs, but is generally calm if they are. She’s very smart and in the two weeks we have had her, we have seen a big improvement in this so continued training will probably calm her down quite a bit.
She doesn’t chew or dig and is well house-trained. She has a little separation anxiety so would be best in a house where someone is home most of the time. If you want a work-from-home companion that will remind you to take your own walk breaks, she’s the perfect dog for you.
