Zeus the Beagle
Zeus is a sweetheart. He is five years old and has had all his vet work done. He is fully housetrained. Zeus adores his human and like all hounds loves to be in a pack, be it his humans or with other dogs. He is looking for a home where he can be central to your family. Even better if he can sleep near you at night, in a bed by your bed would be his idea of heaven. Or he should do well with another dog for company. He hasnt lived with another so it would all depend on introductions. He loves his toys and he is a very easy boy. He doesnt like to be left alone for too long. Children over 10 for Zeus as he hasnt been around smallies. If you love and understand beagles you will love Zeus. Zeus has been five years with the same companion and is very unsettled. He will need time to decompress. We really hope he finds an understanding home that has time to spend with Zeus and let him learn that he is not going to be abandoned.
Update on Zeus. This boy came into us so unsettled, unhappy and moved a couple of times. He absolutely adores Jenny the beagle whom he shares a kennel with and has settled enormously with her company. He loves the open fields to play in (enclosed of course) and loves to play. Therefore we would love to home Zeus with a female dog. He is housetrained. Definitely needs time to settle. A patient home will work. Teenage children or adult home. Huge thanks to the Budds family for their patience with Zeus and giving him the time he needed to relax and find his feet so to speak.
Zeus has gone to his forever home!
