Thor the Jack Russell
Thor needs a very special home as he has come from a horrific background where he was used as bait for fighting dogs. Nearly everyone knows Thor’s story. He was so badly injured he needed a leg amputated and months of special care and veterinary treatment.
When Thor goes to a new environment he will be very shy. He most definitely needs a home with another dog. Not a hyper dog but a balanced happy friendly dog that will help Thor gain confidence in his new environment. He will need a calm home where he will have space to come out of his shell. No young kids for Thor. We would consider teenagers who are aware that he has been through an awful lot and understand that he will come round in his own time. An enclosed garden is a must where he is secure and safe. Thor is doing great and has come on so well with Val. He is physically in good health now and he is gaining confidence by the day. He adores the company of his foster brother and sister. We are looking for that special home where he will continue to blossom.
