Shadow the Staffie

When Shadow came to us he was sad and bewildered.Away from the only home and master he had ever known. He pined for his previous life and we really didn’t think he would ever be happy again. However, after a few days of patience and hugs he started to realise that it wasn’t so bad here after all.It took us a while to get to know his little quirks, the main one being that if we were not ready to bring him for a walk DO NOT say the word The only time he jumps up is when he is excited about going for a walk! If the word is mentioned he will not give up until he is out! Shadow loves walks and is great on the lead.He loves to catch ball and sticks but doesn’t love to bring them back He also loves the beach. He is excellent in the house and very good on recall. Shadow will let you know when there is a stranger near the house but only has to be told it’s ok and he will trot off into bed again. He is a great all rounder. Because of his age( he is 8 but very active ) and his breed Shadow needs and deserves lots of one on one.I think he would be best suited to a family where he is the only dog or with a dog that is used to sharing. He is great with children and adults alike. He is living in foster with 2 other dogs and honestly I would keep him if my own 2 were willing to share! We will be very sad to see Shadow go but hope for a wonderful family for him. Please consider Shadow for your home. You won’t regret it.
