Sally the Pom x

Sally is a three year old pom. She has had a tough start in her life and when taken in by her now owners from an abusive situation. She was thin and covered in mange. She was very fearful.

Sally needs to be rehomed as the children visiting the home are causing her to be fearful again. She loves the ten year old in the home but too many children playing scares her. Sally ideally should be in an adult home only.  She would be the only dog. She is very affectionate and loyal, loves her baths (would stay in there all day) and loves her walks. She isn’t great in the car but travels in a little dog carrier and feels secure in there.

Sally is fine with cats that are dog aware and stand their ground. She even plays with the tough cat in the home. A lovely side to Sally is this story: She will chase a cat if they run but she also plays with one of our cats because he will stand his ground and tussle with sally. They don’t hurt one another. Last year our 14 year old cat moved into Sally’s bed and slept with Sally until he died. The cat just seemed to feel safe with Sally.

Sally has had some traumas at a young age, but the family who have her now have brought her so far and are devastated that she needs to be rehomed. Sally will thrive in an adult only home where she gets all the attention and isnt left home alone all day.
