Otto the Great Dane x

We have been asked to help this boy find his forever home. The family who rescued him and are currently fostering him have given this account of his story. “Ottis is a Great Dane X who was abandoned and was found in a terrible condition. His body shows the scars of abuse and neglect. Deep cuts and raw swellings over his nose could have come from being belted with a stick and account for the way he dives in a cowering way if he thinks he has done wrong. His legs and paws have thickened calluses from being on hard ground and lacking a deep soft bed to lie on. His ears are now clean and he is on pain meds for his cruciate ligament. He wasn’t familiar with a collar let alone a lead but now enjoys short walks and can hardly contain his joy when coming upon grass and loves to roll and rub his face through it! He gets on great with the six cats and three resident family member dogs. He loves his food and literally hoovers it up. Despite all that life threw at him, Ottis is a sweet, loveable sometimes goofy dog who adores being talked to, loves his ear and belly rubs and will make a wonderful addition for some lucky family”
