Oscar and Ripley the Shihtzu x
Oscar (sandy coloured, male, neutered, shih-tzu jack Russell cross) is Ripley’s step-brother.He is 4 years old, although acts younger!
He is a gorgeous dog, full of life and seemingly never gets tired. He will eat pretty much anything and loves raw carrots and other vegetables. He does not like cats although has never really got close enough for us to know properly. Oscar loves walking, running, and catching a ball, although he isn’t great at giving it back. He loves the water, and would stay in it for hours if possible. He’s a really affectionate dog, if a little over-enthusiastic sometimes, but only because he’s so interested in everything.
Oscar also loves nothing better at night than curling up next to the radiator on his bed. He loves company and we would love to home him with Ripley if possible as they grew up together and do everything together. He is also a very good guard dog.
Ripley (white and brown, female, neutered, shih-tzu jack Russell cross) is Oscar’s step-sister. She is four years old, and a very cute ball of fur.
Ripley is actually quite cat-like: she loves lazing around all day, preferably in the sun, and although extremely affectionate, sometimes likes to do her own thing like a cat does. She also makes a “miaow” sound when yawning. Ripley loves kids and always goes down on her belly when approaching them. She also loves teasing Oscar with anything available-she is the boss in their relationship. Although generally lazy, Ripley loves going for walks too.
We would ideally love to home her with Oscar as they do everything together. Both dogs are housetrained and are good on their leads (once they get over the initial excitement!).
