Missy the Staffordshire Bull Terrier
This is a special appeal for Missy. Missy was rescued from very bad circumstances and will need a committed and experienced dog owner who has knowledge of the Staffie Breed.
Here is her story from her foster family: We took in Missy back in October. When she arrived to us first, she was the nicest, sweetest dog in the company of people, her only wish was to cuddle up beside someone, anyone, get affection and fall asleep on your lap. That has not changed in the last few months, around people she is absolutely golden, the best, gentlest, sweetest dog in the world, and will make a fantastic pet for someone who understands what they are doing.
It took a good 6 weeks for her to get comfortable around my own dogs at home, and I have a reasonably balanced pack. Thankfully though as time is going on she has mellowed a huge amount around other balanced dogs.
I truly do think that Missy will make a fantastic, loyal, loving pet, that will give many years of company to a worthy adopter, however the person who takes her will have to come from a quiet, relaxed home with very little or no high intensity excitement. She will do well on her own as an only dog getting all the attention but will also do very well in the company of an older 100% balanced dog.
She’s an absolute beauty of a dog, and deserves a good life, same as all the rest!
