Marlo the American Staffie

Not in the care of DAWG. Please share for Marlo – Marlo is a 7 year old male neutered American Staffordshire Terrier. He is a fabulous happy, healthy boy who loves to chill out on the couch, play and go for walks. He needs an enclosed garden as his recall isn’t brilliant, and needs to be walked on lead but his lead manners are excellent. He’s pretty chilled about how much exercise he gets, he loves to be out walking for long periods but equally one walk a day does him fine

He lived with a female collie for 5 years and can be great with other dogs when he has time to get to know them, but introductions need to be careful as he doesn’t like every dog he meets. He is microchipped, vaccinated and has full health insurance, as well as house trained and crate trained.

He is a strong boy so a house with small kids wouldn’t be suitable but he is super friendly and affectionate.

Marlo is being rehomed due to his owner being unable to find pet friendly accommodation, so they are heartbroken to lose him and would love to see him find a home where he is going to be treated like the big pet that he is
