Louis the Pom x

Little Louis is a very striking pom X boy of approx 9 months old. He came into the care of DAWG with (among other things) a badly neglected matted coat. This was shaved off to give him some relief so Louis will grow back a lovely long pom-type coat that will need some care. During his time in foster he has come on in leaps and bounds. He was initially extremely scared and timid, so much so that he would urinate with fright …. he is still quite timid in unfamiliar environments and with new people so no small children for Louis. He is really only a puppy and has lots of energy so walks and stimulation are a must for him….he is an intelligent little dog who learns rapidly so anyone looking for  a little lap-dog to train to do tricks….this is your guy! Louis needs a patient understanding home where ideally someone will spend time training him as he needs this to contain and redirect his fear and excitement levels. He is good with cats (and hens!) although he will need supervision around them as he expects them to play with him! He is very good with other dogs and like any young dog, he loves to play ….he has only discovered how to play with dog toys recently so he would love either a calm playful dog to keep him company or a human to spend time with him. He will reward his new owners with bundles of affection and loyalty (to go with his very cute looks). Louis is vaccinated , neutered and microchipped  …. all he needs now is a “forever-human” so he never again has to wonder where he’ll sleep next or where his next meal will come from!
