Kaden the Rottie Hound X

Kaden is almost eleven months old, and he’s a huge boy with the heart of a puppy. He is fully housetrained, walks very well with a Halti and he knows his basic commands, like sit, paw, no, stay. We take him out with our own two medium sized dogs and he just trots along beside them, full of the joys of Spring. He loves his hugs and cuddles. Every morning he bounds upstairs for a hug, which he takes while standing on his hind legs with his front legs wrapped around my neck and his nose sitting on top of my head (while I’m standing!).

Kaden gets along brilliantly with all dogs, any shape or size. He has made friends with my neighbours 12 week old Spaniel pup and they play together without any consideration for their massive size difference. We were dogsitting a Staffie x earlier this week and all the two of them did all day was play, play, play, never a growl to be heard. His best mate is our Tilly, a 7 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback x, they hit it off on the first day Kaden moved in and haven’t fought since.

It amazes us that Kaden hasn’t been snapped up by now. He is just a gentle giant. Due to his size he does not require long walks, 20 minutes a day is enough as long as you put in the mental training time too. He is a mix of three intelligent working breeds (Hound-Husky-Rottweiler) so with the right training he has the potential to make a wonderfully obedient pet. He would need a home with somebody around most of the day for company. He loves sitting out in the back garden smelling the air and sitting in the sunshine, but would not be happy if he was left out on his own for too long. He is wonderful with our two young children (3yrs and 6yrs) and all of their friends that call to the house. I cannot say a bad word about him, please share his photos and get Kaden the loving home he truly deserves.

Kaden has gone to his forever home!
