Jillie is a 4 year old JRT who has been waiting too long and this special girl is ready for a special home to call her own. Jill is a very loving dog who adores company and affection. She loves everyone she meets and loves to be around people. She especially adores children and men! Jill enjoys the company of other dogs, so long as they are quite calm and tame. She is a mature dog, who prefers a snooze and a cuddle than to play.
 
Jillie is fully housetrained, however she does need a little bit of extra time to do her business as she can be very particular! She absolutely adores a bit of praise after she’s done her business, and will bounce around wagging her tail! Her two favourite words in the world to hear are “best girl” and she immediately wags her tail when she hears them! She is the perfect little canine houseguest, she is perfect in the house during the day when I go to work. She’s more than happy to lounge around the house all day.
 
A loving and understanding home is essential for Jill. She unfortunately gets extremely stressed out by loud noises and sudden movements, and when she feels threatened, there is a possibility that her fight or flight instincts can kick in.  It is for this reason that she will better suit a quiet home with no young children, cats or young energetic dogs. However with patience and understanding, this sweet little girl will continue to progress. Jillie is making vast improvements with her lead training and with lots of praise will continue to. She is wonderful off lead aswell – in parks and woods.
