Ember the Lurcher

Another beautiful female lurcher to come into our care. Approx 10 months old Ember is proving to be a character. She loves her home comforts and her favourite spot is the couch or bed!!!

She is housetrained, excellent on the lead and great with all other dogs. She likes to stay close on walks.

Ember like lots of rescue lurchers is looking for a home with another dog. She does not like being left alone for long hours. Her separation anxiety is currently being worked on in foster and she can be left for a few hours with the other dogs. She is a cuddler and will snuggle for hours on end.

Ember is quite mouthy which her fosterer is working on, so teenage kids only for Ember. An enclosed garden needed for Ember.

Update, Ember will be a year old at the end of January. She is in our care 6 months now. She is doing great in foster and is a typical, goofy active lurcher. She has a gentle side also, a new kitten introduced to the home is her new bestie. But cats outdoors she doesnt know, she will still chase. Ember was never used for hunting. She lived on the streets until rescued. She will suit a home with another dog of similar size so she can play with them. Ember loves all dogs but can be a bit rough for smallies. She is very gentle with visiting children but again best with older children.
