Dexter the Chihuahua x

Dexter still hoping to find an experienced adult only home. Dexter is a chihuahua mix and is coming on well in foster. He needs time to trust and is typical of the breed. ie if given an inch he will take a mile. Dexter needs continued training as chihuahuas can become a little bossy if allowed.

Dexter has moved around a bit and is trying to figure out his role. He loves calmness, needs proper introductions to people, ie they ignore him when they come into his home until he approaches them. He is an insecure boy at only 8-9 months old. He is getting quite attached to his fosterer and trusts her as you can see. He would do great as a companion to an experienced owner who will continue with socialisation and managing typical ‘chi’ behaviours. If these are all checked with positive reinforcement, Dexter will do fantastic. We would love to hear from a home who really does understand and appreciate the breed.
