Charlie the Lurcher
We are looking for an extra special home for Charlie the bull lurcher. This handsome boy has been through extremely tough times and comes with his quirks due to this. Charlie has had a hard life. He came to DAWG with broken ribs and burn marks on his body. Without a doubt this boy has experienced abuse in his past. He can be very nervous at sudden noises or bangs. He has a huge fear of walking on wooden or laminate floods and needs rubber mats put down to help him come into a room. He is good with other dogs, loves his zoomies and loves his walks but can get nervy. He is strong and really does need a patient experienced home. Once Charlie trusts all he wants is hugs, cuddles and nuzzles into you for lots of affection. He is fully housetrained and sleeps all night. We cant thank his foster home Carolyne and family for bringing him this far. It was a huge task where oodles of love and patience were needed. We do think its time for this wounded soul to continue to heal in his forever home. A confident female lurcher or large dog would be ideal to help him on his journey.
