Binky the Staffie

Binky is a one year old pure bred Staffordshire Bull Terrier – she is by far the smallest Staffie you will ever encounter.  This girl is tiny!  Binky is the sweetest most loving dog I have ever met.  She loves everything with a heartbeat and hasn’t a bad bone in her little body.  She is just one so therefore Binky is still very  very puppy like in her ways.   She is abit jumpy and nippy “in the most playful way” but this is something that will need to be corrected by her new master as she can unintentionally hurt you while simply just wanting to play.  For this reason she would need a home where children are 8 plus.  Binky adores children but she is too strong for little ones.  Binky has a bit of a fear factor that will also require some work.  She gets very scared when it comes to walkies, not of the harness nor of her lead but when she finds herself in a big open space, she freezes so I think she may have spent most of her life in a back yard.  She simply doesn’t know what to do with herself when exposed to a big open green.  She walks in a stop/start method and will seek shelter in high grass if she’s finding it all too daunting.  She is making progress but it is something that she needs reassuring with and patience.   Binky would love another playmate, she could happily play all day long so a playful energetic four legged friend is something she would love in her new forever home.  Binky has been introduced to hens and her initial reaction was to gently run after them.  There was no aggression, she just wanted to say hello and once corrected she just pottered amongst them not bothering them at all so for this reason I think with the correct introduction Binky could live with any animal.  Binky has bundles of love and will make an unbelievable faithful friend – whoever adopts this girl is getting a real special gem!
