Bella and Bo the Chihuahuas
These beautiful sisters Bella and Bo are ready for their forever home! Bella and Bo came into the care of cDAWG from a situation where they had never had a cosy bed, never slept in front of a fire, never been brought for walks nor socialized with other humans or other dogs (apart from those they lived with). During their time in fostercare they have come on in leaps and bounds. They both have excellent temperaments and their lively affectionate little characters are really starting to shine through now. Having said that, they are still extremely shy and timid when it comes to meeting new people and being in new situations, so a calm patient home is a must for these girls to allow them to fully blossom at their own pace (with a little encouragement along the way).
Bella and Bo are stunning looking, beautifully marked, chocolate coloured long haired chihuahuas. They are tiny in size (so need to be handled gently and if not careful, they can easily be tripped over!) and they like nothing more than to be cuddled up on a warm lap in front of the fire. They have spent their whole lives together and are quite dependent on one another so they are looking for a home together. Bella is the more outgoing one, and Bo (who regularly does the most excellent meerkat impressions!
They are very good with other dogs but are inclined to chase cats (given half a chance!)….although they are so small that my cat just swishes his tail at them and walks on by! They would be ideally suited to a single person or couple in a quiet, calm house maybe with another well-adjusted dog….although they would hugely benefit from the time and attention they would get as the only dogs in a household. No young children as Bella and Bo are too timid and startle too easily at loud noises or sudden movements.
They are perfect little companion dogs and love to potter around the garden once they know they will get back into the heat again!. They enjoy short walks or trips to the park but don’t need much exercise overall. They are very quiet and just love their snoozes (always curled up together)! These are two little dogs that will undoubtedly make some lucky person or family extremely happy.
They are both house-trained, crate-trained, fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. They have needed and received veterinary attention thanks to DAWG and now been given a clean bill of health. These special little girls have plenty of life in them, and love to give, for many many years to come.
Each night now, all they are dreaming of is celebrating their 9th birthday (which falls on the 4th of April next) well settled on their forever lap(s), in their forever home, with their forever human(s)…. and no two little doggies deserve it more 🙂
