Barney the Terrier

My name is Barney Rubble and I am a very friendly young terrier cross looking for a forever home.

I am currently in foster with Philana and Paul who have taught me how to be a good dog! I am very good at sitting and have learnt how to give the paw too….often I do them both together – I know I look very cute and I always get the treat!!!

I am learning ‘down’, ‘stay’ and ‘roll over’ now….it’s hard work but worth it for the belly rubs. I am completely housetrained now and adapt quickly to new situations having been to several socialization classes, been an ambassador for Cork DAWG adoption drives and even coped well with a couple of nights in the kennel when my foster Mum and Dad had to go on a trip without me.

I get on very well with other dogs and love having a good game of chase with them. If none of my doggy pals are out, I am happy with a game of fetch with my human companions too.  I AM VERY AFFECTIONATE AND SNUGGLING UP ON THE COUCH IS ONE OF MY MOST FAVOURITE PASTIMES!
