Axel the Mixed Breed

3 year old mixed breed Axel came into us just before Christmas. Due to his owner being very ill and in hospital, Axel spent months alone in his backyard. Very kind neighbours visited, fed and walked him but he spent way too much time alone and was out in a dog box in all elements. One neighbour in particular with the consent of the owner was determined to get him out of the yard and homed. Sadly he isnt homed yet but is having such a good time in kennels to the relief of everyone. He is excellent with all dogs and so soft and kind to visiting children. We are told he is a collie lab mix but there could be a little German Shepherd in there too. He is good in the car and was housetrained at one point. We have started him again on his vaccines and will get him neutered before homing. Axel needs a little work on the lead but has huge potential. He is a great, loving and loyal boy. He is looking for an active home. Children over 8. No history with cats.
