Libby the Hound
This stunning girl is Libby and she is ready to move from foster. The family who adopts this girl will be the luckiest people alive . Libby was one of the poor hounds we found over Christmas – starving, scared and with a terrible injury to her pelvis, Libby took a week to gain her trust and to come into our care. The injury was so severe that she lost her leg and needed lots of good food and rest to recover from her ordeal and to learn to trust people. What she has become since then is the most adorable, beautiful, loving young dogs ever. Libby adores people, especially children and loves to curl up with them on the couch. She can still be a bit shy with new people but another dog in the home will help her build confidence. She has one of the most beautiful, cartoon hound faces and is so gentle and innocent in her demeanor . She is very comfortable on walks and the fact that she is on 3 legs causes no issues whatsoever aside from the odd tumble while adjusting ! She is naturally nervy around traffic, so a home outside the city with another dog is preferable. This young hound is perfection on 3 legs, with a personality that would melt your heart. If you would like to offer a suitable home please apply via the form below.
